People

Throughout my life it has been the people and connections that I have - whether it be with my mum, sister, nephew, chosen family, friends and lovers that have guided my connection to culture and identity. Throughout my life I have continued to grow, learn and experience more about myself and understand my place in the world in large part from the personal connections that I have. In learning more about the lives and experiences from those around me, I have learnt more about myself. I continue to be a student of life and am so grateful for those connections and for providing me a space to belong as gay person of colour.
